I love this component. Swift, elegant and it seems very stable to me. I love that it has a module, that it has a plugin, the menu link options are ideal for my application. It is nearly perfect in my book.
I am wondering, hoping really, that there is a way to order the documents in a similar way that articles can be ordered. Is anybody working on this presently? Thanks much!
@Robyn - Thank you for the kind words.
Implementing the ordering feature isn’t difficult. We’ll keep your suggestion in mind for the upcoming releases.
Hi Rastin. I was playing with Rubber_Doc on my laptop. Love the interface, however when I went to view the downloaded and saved .pdf files I was unable to view them, and received an error that they were corrupt. I’m using Windows XP SP2, FireFox v2.
Looks like a great component, but on my Joomla 1.53 site (php 5.25), the download from the component (a pdf) will not open in Acrobat 8.1
You can see an example on my site, last item in the portable displays menu.
Too bad, it’s really just what I wanted.
@jentekk, @Marc - note taken, we are working on the bug and will release a patch ASAP. Thank you for the bug report!
Hi
I downloaded and installed rubberdoc onto my joomla page on local host yet at first the documents I uploaded and linked to from articles either opened blank (word docx files) or did not open at all (pdf). I uninstalled the app and downloaded a new copy of the .zip file but that wont install at all saying that no XML Setup file was present. This items functionality is a big del for my site and would be great if I could get it to work.
Thanks a milion
Robbie (Ireland)
I creted a menu link but don´t shows anything in front-end. Only appears DOCUMENT text and nothing more. The categories and the documents are published. The module works ok.
This component/module is just what I was looking for. It works great taking into account the bug fix you are currently working on.
I’m using the module and I was interested in adding a pdf icon after the file titles to let site visitors know what type of file they are opening. Is they’re an easy way to do this?
I tried doing this on my own by editing the default.php file located at joomla_root/modules/mod_rubberdoc/tmpl/. However, my changes were not reflected on my site.
Should I be making the changes in a different file?
Thanks so much for this component/module!!
Hey, this is a great component, simple and functional; well sort of. I have two issues. The first is multiple upload always returns upload failed (403) as a result (and I have checked and checked again the folder permissions not to mention that I can still create documents manually in the documents section). Also the table that it displays as a document list doesn’t look all that great, where would I go to change the formatting for the html table? Which file that is.
@everyone
There is a bug which prevents Windows users to download workable files. We are working to fix it by the end of this week. Sorry folks, but Client projects come first, if anybody wrote a bug fix, please give us a copy too.
@Robbie
You need to unzip the RubberDoc.zip package first. The component package that you ought to upload is actually inside.
@Bridette
For the module to display icons we need to add some appropriate css classes to the created list. We’ll consider that in the upcoming releases.
Thank you so much for the kind words
@Ryan
What operating system and browser are you using?
html.zip contains CSS only Accessible overwrite for your template, other than that, RubberDoc uses pretty much the same category view as the Joomla’s “Weblinks”.
Thank you everyone for the feedback, we really appreciate it.
I am running firefox 2 on vista ultimate. How do you install the html.zip files? I tried just replacing the default.php and default_items.php that are in the category and categories witht he ones from the thml file but that resulted in a 500 error. “500 - View not found [name, type, prefix]: categories,html,rubberdocView”
The corrupted file download issue, should be solved now thanks to the bug fix provided by PeerGlobe
We’ve also added a Search Plugin to the extension.
There has been some changes in the database table, so we recommend a complete uninstall/install of the extension.
@Ryan - unpack the html.zip file and place it in the “template/{yourtemplate}/html/” directory.
or else, RubberDoc will render the category of documents in the legacy mode, (same as the rest of category views in the default joomla)
In joomla1.5 it is possible to completely overwrite the output of any component or module.
Hi all,
Since my last post I have RubberDoc up and running but it will not function on Mac OS X 10.5.2 with Safari 3.1.1
Files linked to from articles with the following code : {docs category=”jobs”} {docs category=”Vacencies”} open full of corrupt characters and also the filse cannot be downloaded to the HD.
This problem does not occur in PCs with Internet Explorer.
Any Ideas?
Robbie
@Robbie - Bug confirmed, We’ll look into it ASAP. Thank you very much!
Hello, congrats for the wonderful extension.
Do you think it is possible to have subcategories or sections before the categories in the future? I belive this is a must on a big doc repository.
I also found a bug with sef urls produced by joomla for rubberdoc. Everything works fine until you have to actually browse a category
@Bica
Thank you for your kind feedback!
I don’t think we will be implementing subcategories or sections until Joomla starts implementing the concept natively.
I couldn’t reproduce the SEF bug, would you please be able to give us a bit more information please? Feel free to contact us directly.
That’s a pitty, in this case I’ll be forced to use a download component like docman wich supports subcategories otherwise it could get messy to browse through all the documents when the repository grows since I’m expecting thousands of documents.
One more suggestion: It would be nice to have the option to either (download) or parse (View) the documents as HTML like Gmail has.
About the sef url problem … here’s the link:
http://www.resitaonline.ro/prima/component/rubberdoc/
* Search Engine Friendly URLs enabled
* Apache mod_rewrite enabled
* PHP Version: 5.2.6
* Web Server: Apache/2.0.63 (Unix)
* Joomla! Version: Joomla! 1.5.3 Production/Stable
* User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.14) Gecko/20080404 Firefox/2.0.0.11
Thanks for the upgrade to fix the Windows download issue. I’ve installed it, and here’s what happens.
1. The first download (at least via firefox 2x or 3.0 fails.
2. Clicking on the link again downloads a copy that does open!
Here’s a link to my website, http://www.digitalmomentum.com
You can find the link under the Topmenu Portable Displays>Display brochures.
I also don’t see file stats in the categorie sections. I have not installed the html folder yet, and will do so.
Once again, thanks for this component. I think it will be wonderfull soon!
@Bica, @Marc, Thank you for the bug reports, we really appreciate it.
We are launching a client site using the RubberDoc by the end of June, and that means all these bugs have to be fixed by then.

Hi there,
Just wondering if there has been any resolution to the mac issue posted last week? The PC stuff is working superbly but need the OS X side to function also.
Thanks a million
Robbie
@Robbie - Do you mean the Safari issue? not yet, but we have to by the end of the week, because we are about to launch a client site which uses this extension.
Oh,
well best of luck with it.
Not sure if i can be of any help but I can test it out for you in the limited parameters that I will be usin it for.
Thanks
Robbie
This component looks promising. However, I haven’t been able to upload documents.
When I try to add documents using the Manage Documents function I get the following error:
Fatal error: Call to a member function checkout() on a non-object in /home/.health/iworx/successfulbydesign.com/administrator/components/com_rubberdoc/controllers/doc.php on line 47
When I use the multiple document upload function. It shows that the file upload is complete for each file, but then the files don’t actually appear anywhere either in the Joomla Admin panel or in my file directory.
Not sure where I went wrong here. Can you advise?
I installed the latest version (0.9.2) and am still getting the corruption problem reported earlier with PDF files. See my site under Brochures. I get the following error:
“The file you are downloading cannot be opened by the default program. It is either corrupted orit has an incorrect file type. As a security precaution, it is recommended that you cancel the download.”
BTW - This is EXACTLY what I was looking for, so thank you a TON for developing it!!!
@Robbie @Yvonne @Wade
You guys are amazing thank you so much for all the bug reports. This weekend we will be doing RubberDoc Bug Squashing to address all those issues. We have an important client site that needs to be launched in few days and it uses RubberDoc as well.
So bare with us, and keep the feedbacks coming please
Couple of extra thoughts for you:
1. It seems to put a bullet in front of the entry. Sometimes I may want a bullet (most of the time) and sometimes I don’t. Could this be optional? Perhaps with a prefix character, i.e.,
{docs prefix=”*”}doc-one{/docs} or
{docs prefix=”"}doc-one{/docs} to eliminate the bullet
The asterisk being any character of our choosing, including an image? Say, for example, I want to put a Word or PDF icon in front of the document title to identify its type?
2. The {docs category=} says category, but isn’t it really “section”? I have a section called “Brochures” and within that a category called “General” but to get a list, I have to use:
{docs category=”Brochures”} not {docs category=”General”}
Thank you Wade!
How about using CSS classes? We can rewrite the plugin to output html lists containing appropriate css classes based on the file extensions ( pdf, excel, word, … ) that way they can be stylized using CSS.
I’ve been trialling your extension most of the afternoon and it really is great work, well done!
A couple of things while your squashing bugs this weekend
On my development box (WAMP) I’ve picked up a couple of things in IE7 and FF2
1../ Sorting titles and Alias in the component admin doesn’t seem to work (IE & FF).
2../ Occasionally the ability to add multiple files for upload is lost ie. adding a file doesn’t add it to a list, this seems to happen if you add a file, cancel out and come back in again (IE & FF).
3../ If you exceed the servers upload size limit the component still shows it as being uploaded and it appears in all file lists (IE & FF).
4../ Firefox seems to see everything as a HTML document in the download dialogue, although they seem to download okay, IE seems to upload .docx files and turn them into .zip files, maybe this is a mime type issue?
Feature wise it would be great if the publish date could be displayed and set as the default order.
Good luck with the bug squashing, email me if you want someone to do some beta testing on Sunday afternoon Eastern Australian time.
Sorry I forgot to mention downloading with IE causes a double count ie. one download shows as two, FF is okay ie. 1 = 1
@Tony - Thank you very much! We are doing some bug fixing this weekend.
Not sure if this is me or if its something that could be done
When inserting say a pdf into a text doc
like this {doc}pdfhere{/doc} it seems (to me) that a carriage return is added before and after the link to the doc ?
Is it possible to remove this so the text including the doc is free flowing without a CR ?
Fantastic add on by the way, easy to install and use!!
Hi Dave!
Currently it produces an html list output, however I see your point. I think for single document we should perhaps output a regular html link tag, and for a list of documents use html list instead.
That was a very good feedback, thank you!
Your welcome, thought it would be a good / easy addition.
Its such a good addition to joomla!
This blogs good but have you thought of adding a forum, much tidier as entries progress and easy to search and put into categories (like install support, bugs, suggestions etc)
Thank you Dave! we are working to fix the bugs first and then planning on implementing some new features too.
We are considering a forum and a proper forge. We just didn’t think that this extension could become this popular. We build as we go.
@Robbie - I confirmed the bug in Safari and I’ve fixed it. We’ll be rolling out the new revision out soon along with fixes for other issues.
We are probably going to migrate the support from rmdstudio blog to the JoomlaForge so we can a better and more efficient bug reporting support. Stay tuned.
Hi Arash and all,
That’s great news, thanks a million. Probably a good idea to move to the Joomla Forum but it also seems that you’re doin a great job rom here to and it’s very easy to get contact directly with you guys. The joomla forum will attract a lot more posts that may be tiresome to cut through when underpressure for a resolution.
Just my thoughts any how.
Hi -
I’m building out our intranet site with J! 1.5, and RubberDoc will be a huge component of that. I just home some of the download issues can be resolved soon, and that upgrading won’t lose the documents and links that already uploaded.
My big issue at the moment is the file upload size being capped at 10M. I have a lot of presentations that are much larger than that. Can you let me know how to increase the limit? I already upped it in php.ini and restarted apache.
Thanks,
Hello, congrats for the wonderful extension.
but I have a question,when i save the upload file ,it give a message :Warning - Failed to move file! ;when i startupload ,it also see nothing upload file .
i use the RubberDoc (Beta)(0.9.2)
i make a directory documents ,i make sure that this directory is writable.
can you give me a suggestion ? thanks!
Hi All,
Just downloaded the new rubberdoc. Uninstalled the old one. Unzipped the new and installed the com_rubberdoc_v_0.9.3.zip file.
Created a rubberdoc folder in my joomla root. Uploaded all my files. assigned them to catagories (that were still in memory from my previous install).
Placed the code {docs category=”category-alias-goes-here”} on all the articles necessary.
When I selected the links in either IE6 or Safari i got the following erroros:
500 - View not found [name, type, prefix]: categories,raw,rubberdocView
You may not be able to visit this page because of:
an out-of-date bookmark/favourite

Have i done something wrong here?
Robbie.
@Robbie - Thank you! it should be a minor fix.
@Robbie - The bug is fixed another released just came out. Download and try it again please.
Hello,
I installed the new version of RubberDoc today, module, component, and html in the template folder. The installation went okay, I made a writable “documents” folder in the joomla root;
then, I log onto the backend, I click on manage documents and this error appears:
Please create a writable directory in the Joomla root and name it “”
Why is that?
Filippo
Hi
I have 0.9.2 installed and want to upgrade to 0.9.4
Just tried but it says module already using directory etc etc
Do i have to uninstall the old version before i install the new (both mod and com) and will it affect my pdfs ? Or is there an upgrade route ?
Dave
@Filippo - thank you for the bug report, we’re looking into it.
To be on the safe side, name your root directory “rubberdoc” and make it writable. Then go to the “Administration > Manage Documents > Configuration” open it and save it
test it with one document and make sure that it gets stored in the right directory and not in the root of Joomla itself.
@Dave - how many documents have you uploaded so far?
Just three
@Dave - in that case I’d recommend you to uninstall and install the component and upload the documents again, because that is the shortest path for you to upgrade.
Just the component or the module as well ?
Thanks
Dave
Everything! a lot has changed in all the extensions.
Ok
Uninstalled, reinstalled com and mod
Then created directory documents in my root (where it was before)
What file attributes does this dir need, i gave it 777
Now when i go to Manage Documents i get a warning
Please create a writable directory in the Joomla root and name it “”
?
I found it
If i clicked new then the warning displayed
Please create a writable directory in the Joomla root and name it “rubberdoc”
Whereas in the manage documents it didnt tell me that just “”
Made rubberdoc and gave it 660 and seems to work ok now.
Does that mean i dont need the documents folder now, presume this has changed to rubberdoc ?
@dave - you can select any directory names that you like in the “Documents > configuration”
Hi Rastin
Uninstalled old component and installed lattest com_rubberdoc_v_0.9.4.zip.
Uploaded 2 .pdf files and embeded them in an article with the code:
{docs category=”ehsq”}.
I was not prompted to create any ‘documents’ or ‘rubberdoc’ directory in the root.
Launched the site, again on OS X with Safari 3.1.1
Selected the link to the .pdf file.
Result:
Did not open for viewing. File downloaded as a .html file. When you browse to the file and open it it is totally corrupted.
When done with Firefox 2.0.0.13, the file opens corrupted also.
Any ideas?
Thanks a million
Robbie
Where are the download links? I went to the Joomla Extensions website and I don’t see anything. Any help please? Thanks!
Please ignore my last comment about not being able to find the download link–I found it.
I’m having a problem with the module. I’ve published the module and when I click on a document, I get a Joomla 500 error. I am using Joomla 1.5.3 with SEF enabled. Here’s a link to my site. On the right-hand side, please click on the Latest Documents tab. http://www.houstonda.org/
Thanks!
@jef - Unfortunately we could never get rubberdoc working with the .html appended to urls. Any suggestions to fix the issue?
I have created a menu item under main menu that points to a single doc
All good here but when i move the item to another menu it shows on the site fine, but in admin when i go to that menu its not there ?
@dave - confirmed! thank you … that is indeed a bug! We’re going to fix that on the next release.
Well i am having real problems.
092 seemed to work fine, i have now gone to 094 and my problem above still exists, i inserted a pdf as a menu item in an existing menu, this works on the site but in admin, menu manager the pdf is not there - infact the other 3 links are not there either ?
So i created a new menu added a test menu item to a single pdf, this shos in admin and on the site but the menu link on the site is the actual pdf hyperlink underlined rather than a menu item and is too far too the left ?
“@jef - Unfortunately we could never get rubberdoc working with the .html appended to urls. Any suggestions to fix the issue?”
Do I need to disable SEF then for it to work? Any ideas when you will be able to get it to work with SEF URLs? Thanks!
I also just noticed that if i put
{docs}mytext{/docs} within a document that does not work either ? Whereas it did before with v 092 ?
@jef - no you don’t have to switch off the SEF, only the html suffix. Try this and see if it works:
Global Configuration > Site > “Add suffix to URLs” and set it to “no”
@Rastin - Yeah, that worked. I’m using Artio SEF component and I simply just changed the extension to php. Works like a charm now! Thanks!
Also, on the menu item, I set “Filter” to hide; but, when I browse the files under a category, I can still filter the documents by description, date, etc. Is that a bug? Thanks!
@jeff - awesome!
The “filter” is only going to show/hide the filter search box on the Category view of documents.
Would love to see the extension working on your site once it is ready. please post us a link.
Is there a way to set a default filter, like sort by date created, description, etc.?
Bug patches for the RubberDoc version 0.9.4 are posted here
@Rastin
Thanks that bug fix sorted out my single pdf not showing
What about my other post about the menus ? Is it a bug or something else ?
@dave - You’re welcome. The menu item issue is a bug and we still haven’t had the chance to fix it. We maintain the GPL projects on our free time, unless a client hires us to fix issues or custom develop a solution.
Hi all,
Just a further update on my problem, i uninstalled rubberdoc again and deleted the rubberdoc folder in the root directory that was still there from the previous install and still contained the previous uploaded files.
Next, I again installed the new rubberdoc, created a new rubberdoc folder in root as prompted and uploaded two .pdf files. Went to the live site and selected the first file, it automatically downloaded as ‘docname.pdf.html and opens full of corrupted characters.
I made sure I followed the earlier fix of
Global Configuration > Site > “Add suffix to URLs” and set it to “no”.
Couldn’t even suggest any ideas to fix this, sorry.
Robbie
Let me guess you are using Safari right? I think there is a bug in Safari that makes it download files in “filename.pdf.html” format. Change the extension of the downloaded files to “filename.pdf” and then try opening it.
@Rastin
Thanks, at least i know its a bug and not some problem i have caused or a template issue!
Do you have a page for know bugs / issues ?
This looks like an excellent component. I think its popular because it clearly fits the Joomla! mold, and isn’t as complex as a product such as DocMan. Its also officially 1.5 Native, which is drawing some attention.
Feature suggestion, the ability to upload (or at least reference) a thumbnail image to associate with the download. The image could be assigned on the same screen that the description is updated. It could then be displayed next to the download in the download list.
Hello, I am having the same problem referenced above, as “docname.pdf.html and opens full of corrupted characters.” I am using the most recent .04 version of RubberDoc. This was an issue in all earlier versions to my experience. I am using Firefox not Safari. This issue doesn’t appear in IE7 and the applications seems to work fine in that browser now, though I think it did not before (can’t quite recall).
Changing the file name extension once downloaded is not very convenient and shouldn’t be necessary. I am still hopeful I can use RubberDoc in my applications but until the download bug that appends .html at the end of the file name is resolved for Firefox the application isn’t quite ready. I also checked Global Configuration to be sure that “Add suffix to URLs” and set it to “no”.
Is there some fix for this I am missing? Thanks for any assistance, this is overall looking really cool.
@Richard - it should work in Firefox! We always develop and test in FF first.
Go to this page and try downloading using FF: http://sparc.rmdstudio.com/resources-a-publications/category/26/accessibilityresourcespublications
(warning that website template isn’t optimized for IE7 yet!)
Do you have a link to give us? maybe that could help us find the problem.
@Chris - Thank you for the kind words. We’ll keep your feature request on the list for the upcoming versions.
I really like a lot about RubberDoc - great work!!
The one thing with which I have a problem for my intended use is that the document title is a link, even if there’s no file associated with it.
Because of the ease of managing documents, I was hoping to use RubberDoc as a sort of bibliography component… the problem is, we don’t have downloadable copies of all of the publications we want to list. This means that a number of the items in our list end up having links that lead to a 404 error.
So, feature request: please consider making the download link only active IF there is actually a document file to download associated with the entry.
Thanks!
Hi Scott! that is indeed a great point. If there are no files attached, no links should be displayed, and the fix is quite easy too. We’ll take care of that in the next release.
Thank you!

I have been working on deploying a new version of my personal webpage using Joomla to make management easier.
Awesome addition, just what I was looking for, and I love how easy it is to embed the files into articles and still have them available from the downloads section.
One content component modification I am considering putting in place is the ability to have a single download page for all my categories, it might allow people with small sites to utilize the download section feature without having to make visitors click through section after section.
I made some modifications to the components/com_rubberdoc/views/category/tmpl/default_items.php and added a function at the top:
function formatfilesize($size)
{
$nsize = $size * .0009765625;
$filesize = round($nsize,2).” KB”;
if ($nsize > 1024) {
$nsize *= .0009765625;
$filesize = round($nsize,2).” MB”;
}
if ($nsize > 1024) {
$nsize *= .0009765625;
$filesize = round($nsize,2).” GB”;
}
return $filesize;
}
Then I modified the line for displaying the file size to use:
file_size); ?>
I also modified the language file: language/en-GB/en-GB.com_rubberdoc.ini to have FILESIZE=Size instead of FILESIZE=Size MB
That way the file size is dynamic to the content and it still sorts properly, etc.
Hi all,
@Richard, @Rastin,
I can confirm that this is also a bug in Firefox 2.0.0.13. When choosing the option to open the file, it opens corrupted.
Changing the .pdf.html extension to .pdf also works but would aggree with richard that it is not convenient (but would not have been as blunt about it
).
Further, on IE6, which a large amount of people in Ireland are still running on XP, the file can be downloaded fine and opens ine, but if you choose to not download and just open, it gives the following:
‘There was an error opening this document. The file cannot be found.’
Rastin, i can send you a link and log in details for my site privately if you wish.
Talk soon,
Robbie
@all - I think we have found a fix. Expect the next release 0.9.5 in 48 hours which has a number of bug fixes.
Could you please confirm that you can download the files on this page?
http://sparc.rmdstudio.com/resources-a-publications/category/26/accessibilityresourcespublications
@Rastin,
The downloads work for me with Safari - no .html added to the download anymore.
@Scott - Cool! well you can either apply the patch yourself:
http://blog.rmdstudio.com/2008/07/03/joomla-rubberdoc-094-simple-bug-patches/
or wait for the 0.9.5 release

Just getting started here. I’ve installed “com_rubberdoc_v_0.9.4.zip”. What do I do with the other two zip files (html.zip & mod_rubberdoc.zip) and how are they used?
I’ve also applied the 094 simple bug patch for July 8 (the July 3 one was already in the version that I downloaded I think). Two notes on this:
The single and double quotes in the code on your website were turned into curly quotes so I got an error about an unexpected “:”. Changing them back to straight quotes in the php file got rid of the error.
Applying the patched patch
corrected the problem of Safari adding .html to the end of a PDF file for me. As a sidebar, I have the same problem downloading attachments from email when using Charter’s webmail interface which I think is from OpenWave Systems. Fortunately, I don’t do that very often.
BTW, thanks for the component. I haven’t gotten very far with it yet, but it looks pretty slick!
Tim
Hi, me again!
Here’s an odd one: I set up my first article with three document links within a single doc tag. The paragraph of text before the links is fine. The list with the links is fine. The paragraph after the links however is still indented.
I’ve tried this in Safari and Firefox on OSX. Both behave the same except that Safari has more vertical space before the trailing paragraph.
Looking at the source it seems that the list is not closed. It appears to be closed with rather than .
You can see an example on my front page: http://www.rochesterfsc.org/joomla15. Here is the code for that section:
OK, now we’re going to throw in some download docs. If you want them, come and get them.
JPSE Summer 2008 Registration
Junior Club Summer 2008 Registration
JC Hockey Summer 2008
It doesn’t look like the list is being closed properly. And now some more dummy test. Free digital books are now available online from the Rochester Public Library! You can download, and then enjoy digital books–even take them with you–without being connected to the Internet. Click here to download one today.
Oops, it appears that the code in the last post got sucked up into the html. You can check the source on my website if you want but is basically it looks like the list is closed with ul instead of /ul.
T.
You were right Tim, thank you so much! that’s what happens when dyslexics do programing
I have fixed the code for the next release
Hi there all you Rubberdoc-aholics,
Applied the patch from July 8th regarding changing the view.raw.php file.
I edited it with all the code in the patch fix:
$doc =& JFactory::getDocument();
$doc->setMimeEncoding( $mime );
$doc->setModifiedDate( $data->get(’modified’) );
$doc->render();
header(’Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=”‘.$fileName.’” ‘);
header(’Content-Length: ‘. $fileSize);
and replaced the old view.raw.php file.
Went to one of my docs (in Safari and firefox and IE6) and got the following error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘:’ in /home/madeinei/domains/madeineire.com/public_html/lotus/components/com_rubberdoc/views/doc/view.raw.php on line 57
Any ideas? Will this continue in the 0.9.5 release?
Robbie
Robbie . . .
Same thing happened to me. The webpage did a smart quotes replacement. Change any curly quotes in the code (double and single) back to their straight quote cousins.
This did fix the Safari download (*.pdf.html) issue for me.

@Robbie, @Tim - Of course 0.9.5 will have the patches included.
Hi Rastin,
One more thing . . . I’ve installed “com_rubberdoc_v_0.9.4.zip”. What do I do with the other two zip files (html.zip & mod_rubberdoc.zip) and how are they used?
Hi -
Is there any way to increase the maximum filesize that RubberDoc handles? I have several very large presentations that need to be hosted. Thanks,
Len
Can the rubberdoc categories be translated trough any language component like say… joomfish.
HI Tim and all,

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_FUNCTION in /home/madeinei/domains/madeineire.com/public_html/lotus/components/com_rubberdoc/views/doc/view.raw.php on line 60
This occurred on Safari, Firefox and IE6.
