Because if you haven’t, you should! They are not just yet another branding and design company in Vancouver. These people have a long history in the design industry, doing projects for big lable companies and now they have teamed up and started a new company in a really cool spot in Gastown on Water Street.
We’ve always believed the best way to make friends is to be a friend! The KontentCreative team did just that and upon launching their blog they sent out a list of 5 simple questions to all their contacts and after collecting the feedbacks they made a blog post about every participant. These names have been put forward by the core development and community members of these projects. Johan has been the former Lead Architect and Project Manager in the Joomla Core development team.
Currently Johan Janssens is the Managing Director and Lead Architect in Joomlatools. He and his team are responsible for amazing projects such as Nooku an amazing content translation solution and also he has done great framework contributions to our ongoing project the Anahita Social Engine framework.

I was supposed to blog about this event last week around Wednesday or Tuesday, but I simply didn’t get the time. We were so busy working on the client projects, that it was difficult to allocate free blogging time.
We had around 20 people attending this event at the Network Hub last Tuesday. For this session we managed to construct a simple website for an imaginary Dance and Modeling school (The Broadway School of Dance & Modeling) using the Joomla! CMS version 1.5. We also showed how Joomla! CMS could easily integrate with the other major social media services such as Flickr, YouTube, Google Calendar, and Eventbrite. The idea was to show people how to utilize the power of those great hosted solutions within their Joomla powered websites without having to do any crazy php software development.
